The mostly deadly animal to humans by far is the mosquito. One variety of mosquito transmits malaria causing 500,000 deaths every year: equivalent to one dead child every minute. However, a recent scientific report suggested Malaria could be wiped out as early as 2050 with the right tools, enough funding and sufficient political will power.

RAM-Global is leading the way to tackle the eradication of malaria
Measures include reducing malaria in places where assistance is desperately needed by providing things such as; bed nets, microscopes, training for community health workers, drugs, insecticides, swamp drainage, and newly developed WHO-approved vaccines.
